Sparkle Eyes Barbie, 1991 on Flickr. This was one of the Barbies I had as a little girl but, unfortunately, she met with a rather untimely case of decapitation. So, last year, I bought her back on eBay. I wasn’t going to remove her from the box but the plastic of the box was very yellowed/discoloured and I wanted to check that the doll itself was OK. I was a bit disappointed because the description didn’t say anything about the plastic being yellowed but I’m just really happy to have her back as she was one of my favourites.
