7. Most underrated bands:
That’s actually a tricky one for me! I never really have my finger on the pulse of which bands get the kind of popularity I’d think they deserve and which don’t. I do think bands like the Beach Boys often get thought of as a frivolous pop band (not that there’s anything wrong with frivolity) by those who haven’t taken the time to listen to their music properly. Similarly, my most recent music obsession is Adam Ant/Adam and the Ants and I think there are a lot of people who still dismiss the kind of act that was all about showmanship and costumes and things without realising that their music is damn good. Or something. I’d have been able to tell you all about who I think is overrated far better ;)
20. Favourite concert ever:
I think it’s a tie between Bright Eyes in Melbourne in 2005 and Stray Cats in 2008 (I think). I’ve been to so many amazing concerts but I just can’t think of any others, right now.
