After listening to this great mix I decided it was about time I made a mix of my favourite 60s girl group sounds songs (they’re not ALL girl groups - some are solo - but have that sort of sound-ish, which is the only theme linking these songs I guess) and then nearly had a nervous breakdown trying to decide which songs to put on there. So there will probably be a second volume. And maybe a third. Who knows? Anyway, it’s not comprehensive but these are some of my favourite 60s girl-group sound songs. And there are 25 songs because I am 25?

Oh man, that cover of Gee by The Pixies Three!! Also, Please Don’t Talk to the Lifeguard is one of my lifelong favourite songs. My mum once had a party and I put on my bathing suit and mimed along to it when I was like 7 or 8.
